Psychological testing is a way to quickly determine the nature and extent of problems, help clarify diagnoses, determine abilities and limitations, and help make decisions about coping abilities. A thorough assessment will also help develop an effective therapeutic treatment program or intervention plan.
Most psychological assessments are completed in a single session which typically range from 2-4 hours; however, it is not unusual for more sessions to be needed. This is determined by the reason for the assessment and the type of information needed. Each evaluation is tailored to provide the specific information needed. Many factors are taken into consideration when deciding what type of testing will be conducted. These factors will determine the time required for the evaluation, as well as the cost of the evaluation.
We conduct psychological testing with adolescents and adults covering the following concerns:
- Personality Issues
- Psycho-educational Concerns
- Learning Disabilities

After testing is complete, we will conduct a feedback session, during which the test results as well as our recommendations will be reviewed. If needed, referrals to other services and professionals will be provided.
